Project Overview

I managed the development and execution of an email campaign for Radio Disney, coordinating with agency partners to bring the creative vision to life while handling all technical implementation within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The project focused on increasing listener engagement across multiple audience segments while maintaining the playful yet trusted Disney brand voice.

The Problem

Radio Disney needed to reconnect with their audience during a strategic shift in programming. The challenge was creating email communications that would appeal to both young listeners and their parents while effectively communicating new content offerings. Additionally, there were technical constraints in how interactive elements could be implemented within their existing Salesforce instance.

The Solution

I directed this project from concept to completion:

  1. Strategic Agency Direction: Collaborated with creative partners to develop concepts that balanced Radio Disney's kid-friendly appeal with information parents would value, providing clear technical specifications that would work within our platform.

  2. Technical Feasibility Assessment: Evaluated proposed designs against Salesforce capabilities, recommending adjustments to ensure all interactive elements would function properly while preserving the creative intent.

  3. Salesforce Implementation: Personally configured the campaign in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, setting up audience segments based on listening preferences and engagement history.

  4. Testing Protocol Development: Created a comprehensive testing approach that verified both visual presentation and functionality across devices popular with different age groups.

  5. Campaign Execution and Monitoring: Launched the campaign with careful timing to align with on-air programming, monitoring performance metrics to guide optimization.
